I am honored to be serving a third term in the NC House of Representatives for District 98. During my current elected service, I have been appointed to a senior leadership position as Senior Chair of the NC House Finance Committee. I am responsible for setting our state's tax and fiscal policies. I continue to lead the effort to reduce taxes for both individuals and businesses. I have voted to support teacher and state employee raises every single year of my elected service. I believe everyone regardless of race or creed deserves an opportunity - especially individuals with IDD like autism and Down syndrome. Lastly, I have always stood with our military, police and first responders.
I have decided to run for a 4th term for the NC House of Representatives because I have a desire to serve everyone in Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville. I firmly believe in common-sense legislation and policies. Not only am I a small business owner right here in District 98, but I’m also an experienced public servant.
I served on the Cornelius Town Board from 2011-2014 and two terms in the NC House of Representatives from 2015-2018. While previously serving in the NC House, I was the Deputy Majority Whip, Co-Chair of the Mecklenburg Legislative Delegation, and Chairman of the Regulatory Reform and State & Local Government Committees.
I married my high-school sweetheart, Shea, and we have been married for 22-years. We have four children: Jack, Molly, Sophie & Macy. We also have three furry children: Bob the cat, Maggie and Berkeley.

Support lower taxes so more money is returned to hardworking individuals and to create new economic opportunities for everyone
